This is amazing. Had the privilege of using it in the field this last weekend on a wild boar hunt along with a pair of trekking poles. It’s extremely light weight and easy to use. I couldn’t recommend it more!
These guys know what they are doing. High end materials used on these tripods. Your actually getting what your paying for. I’m going to recommend this company to everyone I know!
These legs help me to shed weight and go farther than I have before is the ultimate set up to keep my pack as late as possible they are quality solid and reliable product they definitely get the job done happy with it
I am trying to cut as much weight out of my pack as possible and I found this to be a great ultralight solution to shooting from any position. My bipod setup is now around 8oz. During a backpack hunt I may even leave the removable inserts at home to cut it down to 5.5oz and still be able to shoot from sitting to standing.
The GTP-RS in combination with the Javelin Lite bipod head and your trekking poles provides a sturdy base for rifle or crossbow shooting. The GTP-RS and attached head fit easily in your pocket. After attaching the trekking pole-legs it easily mates to your weapon using the Spartan magnetic attachment system. I use it with several different rifles ranging from calibers 243 to 30 and with a Tenpoint crossbow. The adjustable trekking pole legs make it easy to set up on uneven terrane, sitting or standing, and the Spartan head allows tracking targets, or locking in place. Using the leg attachments provided (carbide or rubber tips) with the GTP-RS it is a useful tool for sighting-in on a bench at the range. I very much value the high-quality machining and overall usability of the GTP-RS.
