The Tricer-AD is a fully functioning sit to stand tripod. Utilizing an inverted leg design the 33oz AD is the strongest tripod in its class. Long gone are the days of using a photography tripod with pencil thin legs on the ground. The inverted AD has a 3 section leg with the largest 1 1/8” leg on the ground a 1” in the middle and the thinnest 7/8” leg at the head. I bought this tripod with the head and the bino adapter and I love it it is so lightweight and comfortable to use overall the best tripod I’ve ever had
The "reverse" legs of the AD make it much more stable than the usual tripod. Even with my giant spotting scope it's extremely stable. It's also lighter than any comparable tripod I own. I can see why my friends love this tripod and recommend it.
So much lighter than my last set up. More sturdy seemingly more capable. Awesome product. My only complaint is no cool triceratops stickers! Haha
I've been running Slik tripods for the last few years. I drew a Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep tag this year and have really been focusing on the weight of my pack. I switched to the Tricer AD and not only is it lighter than my Slik.....it is way more stable. I have nothing but positive things to say with my experience with this tripod so far.
Light and stable tripod with awesome functionality. I need a little time to get use to the twist locks but they work great
