Goes with me everywhere now

The GTP-II easily made it into my essential packing list, I can deploy it quickly on my poles without taking off my pack and it stabilizes my binoculars extremely well. It's just an incredibly useful and interesting product.

The GTP-II is versatile bipod component that can be used to for glassing or rifle rest. It attaches to 2 trekking poles or the GTP-RS legs. In combination with a panhead or rifle rest or clamp the GTP-II provides a quick and superior alternative to free-hand holding. Very pleased with the purchase.

Love This Bipod

I use my GTP-II for glassing and it's great. I can't recall which panhead I'm using, but it bolted right up and has a pin for my binoculars. The nice thing is that I can swap out the binocular pin for a shooting "Y" in a couple of seconds and use it to shoot with as well. It's not quite as stable as when I use my GTP-RS legs with my other bipod, but it works as well as any other bipod.
