This design is perfect. Big game hunting with trek poles + tricer GTP I = lightest weight setup for a FULL SIZE glassing tripod possible! Incredibly useful for wildlife photography in the back country. The bottom hook is perfect for hanging weight from to help stabilize. With my LP head, this will go with me on every hunt!
